Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Principal Software Engineer to set the technical direction for the Developer Compute platform, architecting services that provision, stream, secure, and operate cloud-hosted compute environments across AWS and Azure.

You will lead end-to-end architecture, build distributed services for multi-cloud environments, optimize desktop streaming, and translate end-user compute needs into a multi-year platform roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of software, platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Azure compute, networking, identity, and storage services.
• Deep knowledge of desktop streaming protocols and end-user compute solutions.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the end-to-end architecture for AI agent compute and virtual desktop platforms.
• Develop distributed compute services across clouds to provision secure environments.
• Drive streaming strategy including latency and graphics performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and security leaders to build a multi-year roadmap.
