Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to steer the technical direction of our Developer Compute platform, spanning AI agent sandboxes and virtual desktop infrastructure. You will architect and build cloud-hosted environments across AWS and Azure, delivering secure, scalable compute for agents and their human teammates.

You will lead end-to-end architecture, develop distributed services, and drive desktop streaming strategy, collaborating across engineering, IT and security

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of software, platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
Deep hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure compute, networking, identity, and storage services.
Deep expertise in desktop streaming protocols such as DCV, PCoIP, or Blast Extreme.
Experience designing and operating end-user computing solutions like WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix, or Omnissa Horizon.
Experience with AI-native development and coding agents to multiply developer efficiency.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture of NVIDIA's AI agent compute and virtual desktop platforms, from strategy to global deployment.
Develop distributed compute services that provision and manage secure, isolated agent environments and desktops across clouds and regions.
Drive the desktop streaming strategy, including protocol architecture and performance tuning for latency and graphics.
Collaborate with engineering, IT and security leaders to translate compute requirements into a multi-year platform roadmap.
