Aristocrat in Franklin, TN searches for a Principal Engineer to shape the architecture of our next-generation gaming platform. You will lead design and cross-team collaboration across graphics, security, networking, and hardware integration.

You’ll mentor engineers, establish coding standards, and drive AI-enabled tooling to accelerate development while maintaining reliability and security in a highly scalable environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical expert in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• 10+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale libraries/frameworks/platforms.
• Strong systems design and architectural leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex, high-performance platform features.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and ensure alignment to architectural standards.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and quality standards.
• Work across graphics systems, networking, encryption, hardware integration, and SDK standards.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and processes to improve scalability and productivity.
• Identify and mitigate technical risk and analyze/debug issues.
• Champion AI-assisted development tools and establish guidelines for safe use.
