Job summary

Aristocrat Leisure in Franklin, TN, seeks a Network Engineer III to design, build, and operate secure, scalable network infrastructure across data centers and customer environments supporting Class II gaming systems.

You will own end-to-end deployments, lead complex troubleshooting, and coordinate with regulators to ensure compliant, highly available operations in a 24x7 production setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology.
• 5+ years of enterprise/datacenter or service provider network experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with BGP and IPSec VPN connectivity in production.
• Hands-on experience coordinating enterprise firewall platforms, especially Palo Alto with Panorama.
• Experience using network monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.
• Experience supporting highly available, regulated, or critical environments.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and segmentation strategies.
• Ability to work independently, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to obtain Tribal Gaming licenses as applicable.
• Preferred: CCNA/CCNP/PCNSE or equivalent, familiarity with SD-WAN, VXLAN/EVPN, automation with Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Construct, align, and improve secure, scalable network builds for Class II gaming systems.
• Take ownership of network build decisions from start to finish across data centers and customer environments.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for complex network challenges and drive reliable, efficient solutions.
• Define technical standards, reference architectures, and guidelines for networking of Class II devices.
• Maintain uptime, fault resistance, and efficiency of vital network infrastructure.
• Lead complex triage across routing, VPNs, firewalls, and multi-site networks.
• Build and maintain resilient networks aligned with cybersecurity and gaming regulatory requirements.
• Lead network change planning and risk assessment within formal change/configuration processes.
• Partner with regulators and internal compliance teams to ensure compliant operation.
• Lead execution of new site deployments, upgrades, and modernization efforts.
