Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a seasoned PCB Material Science SME in Santa Clara to lead R&D and manufacturing of high-layer-count PCBs. You will guide TLPS/PTFE material selections, develop new interconnect structures, and optimize stack-ups for reliability and cost efficiency.

You will partner with engineering, signal integrity, design, sourcing, and operations teams, and mentor cross-functional groups while maintaining supplier relationships to meet roadmap needs.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or related field with 12+ years in PCB design, fabrication and materials.
• Experience with OEM system-level PCB and backplane is highly desirable.
• Extensive expertise across PCB technologies and laminate materials development.
• Strong understanding of PCB supplier base and raw material sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D and high-volume manufacturing of high-layer-count PCBs.
• Develop PCB technologies, interconnect structures, and materials for new products.
• Define and optimize PCB stack-ups to maximize reliability and reduce costs.
• Provide PCB technology support to Engineering, SI, Design, Sourcing, and Operations teams.
• Maintain relationships with PCB manufacturers and laminate suppliers.
