ERM is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant, Paleontologist, to lead paleontological and cultural resource projects across North America from an ERM US office. The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and business development in a senior capacity.

Applicants should have a graduate degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience, with strong NEPA knowledge and leadership capabilities to drive regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required in paleontology, geology, earth sciences, biology, anthropology, archaeology, or related field.
• 8+ years (10+ preferred) of professional paleontological resources experience.
• Experience leading assessments, surveys, monitoring programs, and agency consultation.
• Strong understanding of NEPA and related environmental review requirements.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
