Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (MN/VA) seeks a senior network security engineer to implement, operate, and continuously improve secure access for enterprise environments. You will manage enterprise web traffic filtering, cloud-based secure web access platforms, and troubleshoot connectivity and policy enforcement.

You will configure secure tunnels (GRE/IPSec), support Zero Trust and SASE initiatives, and collaborate with security, identity, and cloud engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelors degree or 14+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Strong experience operating internet edge and secure access networking platforms.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting secure web access controls.
• Hands‑on experience configuring secure tunnels and encrypted network connectivity.
• Experience working with SASE tools and Zero Trust security principles.
• Familiarity with cloud‑connected networking environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, authentication, and application access layers.
• Experience managing DNS infrastructure.
• Industry certifications in networking, cloud networking, or security disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement, operate, and continuously improve network capabilities for secure access
• Manage enterprise web traffic filtering and cloud-based secure web access platforms
• Troubleshoot user connectivity issues related to secure web access and policy enforcement
• Configure and maintain secure network tunnels using technologies such as GRE and IPSec
• Support secure connectivity and network access including enterprise implementations of Zero Trust security models
