Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks a Principal Network Engineer to lead a major Internet Gateway Migration across US/UK. You will own low-level design, implement complex routing, SD-WAN, and cloud integration, working with network architects, security teams and suppliers.

You will design, test and migrate to resilient enterprise network services, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs and traffic engineering, while ensuring operational readiness and seamless service transitions.

Qualifications

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification is mandatory.
• Expert-level BGP design, policy, traffic engineering and multi-carrier connectivity.
• Hands-on Cisco routing and switching in enterprise environments.
• Strong SD-WAN experience, especially Cisco Viptela.
• Solid understanding of OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, QoS and high-availability design.
• Experience delivering complex network migrations and transformation programs.
• Experience integrating enterprise networks with Azure/hybrid-cloud environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting using packet captures, routing diagnostics and telemetry tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and implement Internet Gateway migration solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex routing environments (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs).
• Troubleshoot across Internet edge, SD‑WAN, WAN, LAN, cloud, security and carrier connectivity.
• Develop and execute migration plans, runbooks, cutovers and validation tests.
• Analyze dependencies across routing, security, DNS, DDI, remote access and cloud connectivity.
• Resolve migration blockers across network and security domains.
• Create and review low-level designs, implementation procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with Network Architects to translate designs into deployable solutions.
• Lead major implementation events, service transitions and high-risk changes.
• Drive engineering best practices and operational readiness.
