Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to shape our enterprise network infrastructure. You will design and troubleshoot Cisco networks, drive modernization, and implement secure, scalable solutions that support patient care and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering. Designs, implements, and maintains enterprise Cisco network services across clinical and business locations.
• Technical leadership and mentoring. Provides hands-on guidance to network engineers; reviews designs and implementation plans; builds team capability.
• Advanced troubleshooting. Leads debugging of complex network incidents using packet captures, telemetry, and routing analysis; coordinates restoration.
• Network automation. Develops reusable automation for provisioning, configuration, validation, inventory, and operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, and Python; applies version control and testing.
