Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Director of Infrastructure to lead enterprise infrastructure across clinical and business locations. Based at our Milwaukee campus, this hybrid role reports to the CTO and directs strategy, engineering, and operations to ensure availability and modernization of compute, storage, networks, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in IT infrastructure, 3+ years of people management, and experience with cloud-native approaches and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in IT, CS, engineering, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible IT infrastructure experience.
• At least 3 years of formal people management experience.
• Experience implementing cloud platforms or infrastructure automation, including infrastructure as code.
• Healthcare experience and relevant service management or technology certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise infrastructure for Children's Wisconsin, directing strategy execution, engineering, and operations across clinical and business locations.
• Oversees infrastructure design, delivery, and lifecycle management with testing and rollback procedures.
• Manages budgets, vendor performance, and capital planning for infrastructure.
• Directs incident response, service levels, and continuous improvement across infrastructure services.
