Oracle is seeking a technical lead for its AI Infrastructure - Network Operations team in Santa Clara, CA. This role involves defining high-level objectives, leading lifecycle management programs, and guiding engineers on complex network projects.

We are the AI Infrastructure - Network Operations team at OCI. We support and operate the RDMA/RoCE network fabrics for OCI's largest AI and HPC customers. These fabrics are the foundation of OCI's AI, GPU and HPC services, and support major tier‑0 vendors in the generative AI industry. If you are running an AI workload at OCI, we are running the RDMA network underneath your workload.
Lead network lifecycle management programs by defining high‑level objectives and delivery procedures, and organize project technical milestones and supporting tasks. Work as a project technical lead, coordinating the effort of two or three engineers, advising the project/program manager and coordinating with immediate and skip‑level leadership. Collaborate across teams within the same organization, serve as a technical SME in cross‑functional activities, and take technical responsibility for complex projects, including requirements, specifications, and documentation. Decompose high‑level architectures into detailed designs, lead multiple engineers in developing network solutions with multiple modules and complex interactions, and work with supporting service teams to ensure solutions are properly supported by monitoring and automation systems. Act as a Tier 2 or specialized escalation point for network events, provide break‑fix support for large‑scale events, drive systematic resolution of complex network issues, and serve as a root‑cause analysis SME. Frequently develop scripts to automate non‑traditional, complex tasks for the business unit, and may serve as a technical lead on network automation design and delivery projects. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle, provide broad guidance to technical and senior technical members of staff, interpret input from leaders, coach junior members to develop skills, collaborate with vendor engineering and account managers, participate in RFQ/RFP development, lead adoption of new vendor hardware, and communicate with product teams to drive technology that meets product and service requirements.
