Job summary

EY is seeking a highly technical .NET Engineer to lead the delivery of high-volume, business-critical production platforms for financial services clients. You will own architecture, governance, and modernization efforts, mentoring engineers and aligning technical direction with business goals.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, secure coding practices, and delivering robust enterprise solutions in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 30% is supported as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or advanced degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software development for enterprise-wide applications.
• Expertise with .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and C#.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with SOAP, JSON, XML, log4net, uDeploy, Jenkins, SQL Server, IIS, Oracle, Ant, Maven, Groovy.
• Experience with Oracle and ability to write and tune SQL queries.
• TDD, CI/CD, and automated regression testing skills a plus.
• Containerization and AWS exposure, and AWS Cloud Certification, a plus.
• Proven experience owning application architecture, governance, and mentoring.
• Comfortable in Agile environments with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and technology roadmaps across complex initiatives.
• Establish secure engineering patterns, reusable frameworks, and delivery governance.
• Lead cross-team decisions, modernization efforts, and manage technical risk.
• Influence senior stakeholders with clear business-aligned technical direction.
• Mentor and develop technical leaders and engineers.
• Define reusable standards and drive organizational capability improvements.
• Apply code quality, security, testing, and automation standards across teams.
