Job summary

FastTek Global is hiring a Principal Model Based Design Engineer to lead design, modeling, simulation, and implementation of advanced control systems using model-based tools like MATLAB/Simulink. The role requires diagonal leadership across business units and governance for high-quality control solutions on complex systems.

You will oversee MIL, SIL, and HIL testing, guide embedded software development and architecture, and ensure integration with broader system models.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in control systems development with model-based design.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development methodologies.
• Experience with various control methods (PID, MIMO, Non-Linear, MPC) and MIL/SIL/HIL testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, simulation, and implementation of advanced control systems using model-based engineering tools.
• Oversee MIL, SIL, and HIL testing to verify and validate control strategies.
• Mentor and train engineers in model-based design and controls engineering.
