Job summary

Definitive Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Principal MLOps Engineer & Functional Lead to architect, build, and scale our ML and Generative AI infrastructure. You will design an automated, secure ecosystem capable of training and deploying predictive models and advanced Generative AI at enterprise scale.

As the Functional Lead, you will establish MLOps best practices, mentor senior engineers, and translate business objectives into robust pipelines and software standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in data engineering and ML engineering, with 5+ years on MLOps platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML and data pipelines for CI/CD and model deployments.
• Govern enterprise feature/store infrastructure for low-latency retrieval in ML/RAG apps.
• Lead and mentor engineers; define standards, blueprints, and SLAs for ML systems.
• Architect Generative AI infrastructure including LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent workflows.
• Optimize training/inference pipelines for high throughput and low latency.
