Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a Principal AI Architect in Redwood City, California, to lead the architecture for production-grade ML and Generative AI systems. This pivotal role will oversee scalable pipelines and collaborate across teams to solve real-world fulfillment challenges with cloud-native AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Computer Science or AI/ML, alongside over 10 years of industry experience, particularly in implementing robust ML strategies and systems. A hands-on approach across the entire ML lifecycle is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building ML systems in academia and/or industry.
• Hands-on experience across the full ML lifecycle: data collection, training, evaluation, MLOps, deployment.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and big data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own and articulate the architectural vision for all ML applications across the product suite.
• Define architecture and build POCs for core ML algorithms.
• Establish MLOps practices for continuous model delivery and lifecycle management.
