SiTime Corp. in the United States seeks a Principal MEMS Development Engineer to push MEMS technology and engineer resonators for our next‑generation timing products. This role emphasizes innovation and cross‑functional collaboration across circuits, systems, and packaging teams.

You will lead challenging projects, analyze device physics and fabrication, and drive improvements with a Ph.D. and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in ME, EE, physics, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• Skilled scientist with ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
• Excellent problem identification and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics.
• Knowledge in fundamentals of MEMS devices physics and fabrication.
• Experience with finite element simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS) and data processing tools (MATLAB, Python).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional results.
• 3-10 years of industry experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of programming languages, circuits, metrology equipment and methods.
• Experience with Statistical analysis and tools such as R or JMP.
• Knowledge in MEMS microfabrication.

Responsabilités

• Lead definition and execution of challenging MEMS projects.
• Advise management on challenges, impact and recommendations.
• Develop new or improved resonators and MEMS technologies.
• Design MEMS devices and characterize performance on wafer or device level.
• Collaborate with process team to improve MEMS yields.
• Extend automated infrastructure for MEMS design, measurements, data analysis.
• Design and analyze experiments to understand device physics.
• Interface with local and overseas vendors.
• Work in cross-functional teams (circuits, systems, packaging).
• Support other projects as needed.
