Nordson EFD in East Providence, RI is seeking a Principal Mechatronics Engineer & Tech. Lead to conceive, architect, and bring electro-mechanical dispensing systems to market.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, synthesize voice of the customer, design actuators, sensors, control algorithms and data interfaces, and drive product development from concept to high-volume production. Experience in regulated industries a plus.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience launching electro-mechanical products with actuators, sensors, and embedded control.
• Demonstrated interdisciplinary ownership across firmware, electrical and mechanical design.
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering required.

In this technical leadership role, you will be responsible for conceiving, architecting, and bringing to market electro-mechanical systems for precision fluid dispensing used in advanced manufacturing processes and medical fluid handling.
