Responsibilities

  • Assist with IQ/OQ/PQ testing for new mold tools or equipment.
  • Measure parts, perform functional testing, analyze data, and write qualification reports.
  • Apply 5S principles for proper flow and safety on the production floor.
  • Set up new conveyor systems for use in production.
  • Identify and propose ways to reduce conversion costs and improve throughput.
  • Support root cause analysis of CAPAs using tools like Pareto charts.

Job Summary Perform engineering work requires application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with validation activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ testing for new mold tools or equipment
  • Measure parts, perform functional testing, perform data analysis, and write qualification report
  • 5S Production Floor Tape out area using 5S principles for proper flow and safety in production
  • Set up new conveyor systems for use in production
  • Determine ways to reduce conversion costs
  • Organize WIP and Finished Goods areas
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and propose solutions for process improvements in assembly or quality lab operations to increase quality and/or throughput
  • Aid in root cause analysis of CAPAs utilizing tools like pareto charts and fishbone diagrams
  • Prepare and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in 3D CAD Design software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP and IQMS preferred)
  • Willing to be hands on in the manufacturing facility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-Motivated and the ability to multitask
