  • Access a strong technical learning environment with dedicated control system technology experts for accelerated growth.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of mechanical engineering design experience.
  • Experience with controls and actuation systems (CAS) for products, hardware, manufacturing, or design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with systems or mechanical engineering of servo controls.
  • Experience with development of CAS requirements, architecture, risk, verification, validation, system performance, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience with control actuation systems that use permanent magnet brush and brush‑less DC motor technology.
  • Experience with feedback control systems, including sizing, testing, integration, design for manufacturing, kinematic and dynamic simulation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5.
  • Proven ability to deconstruct higher level tasks into discrete lower‑level work packages.
  • Proficient in generating free body diagrams and engineering processes and procedures.
  • Moderate 3D modeling skills with a prominent commercial software package, such as Pro/Engineer/CREO.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and dSpace.
  • Design and manufacturing knowledge in machined parts, injection molded parts, hobbing, broaching, sheet metal fabrication, BLDC motors, wire harnesses, and corrosion‑resistant steels and aluminum alloys.
Benefits

Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
