Job summary

Stratus in Greensboro, NC seeks a Principal Engineer to provide senior technical leadership for multidisciplinary MEP teams on complex projects and ensure designs meet regulatory standards and client expectations.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate construction administration, and uphold quality control across all phases of design and delivery.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Degree from ABET-accredited university
• 10–15 years of engineering design experience
• Minimum 7 years of progressive MEP engineering experience focusing on building systems design

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership and oversight for multidisciplinary MEP engineering teams on complex projects.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.

Job description

Requirements:
