RTX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to provide administration across Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environments in a fast-paced setting. You will work with senior staff to resolve issues and collaborate across teams while maintaining DoD security standards.

This role requires Top Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570. Expect 24x7 operations with potential after-hours work and occasional travel within the US.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux.

Responsabilidades

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment.
• Working as a team member in afast-pacedtechnologicalenvironment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Execute actions as directed by senior staff and project management.
• Engage in cross-team collaboration and align with expectations of leadership team.
• Manage ESXi, VCenter and Microsoft windows domains
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.
• Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
• Travelrequiredas businessneedsdictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.
• Full time 100% Onsite position.

• Experience with cloning techniques.
• Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.
• Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.
• Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).
• Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.
• Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
