Job summary

Qualifications

• 10–13+ years of hands-on mobile software engineering experience.
• Deep technical expertise in Android development using Kotlin/Java.
• Hands-on experience with BLE protocols and operations in mobile apps (healthcare or medical device domains).
• Hands-on experience or demonstrated ability/willingness to develop on iOS (Swift, Objective-C, Core Bluetooth).
• Familiarity with medical device software standards (IEC 62304) and regulated quality management systems.
• Strong background in object-oriented design, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git version control, and technical leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Job Description:

• Design, architect, and develop Android mobile applications that connect to medical devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), ensuring secure and reliable data transmission.
• Implement complex BLE workflows including device discovery, secure pairing, bonding, characteristic read/write, notifications, background tasks, and firmware updates.
• Contribute to iOS development (Swift/Objective-C, Core Bluetooth) to deliver consistent cross-platform user experiences.
• Follow regulated medical device software development lifecycles , generating compliant documentation, design artifacts, and test evidence for regulatory submissions.
