The role requires 8+ years in IC/physical design or related fields, with strong Python/C++ automation skills and experience with Cadence/Siemens EDA tools. Competitive compensation and equity available.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience developing automation solutions with scripting languages.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical efforts from concept to deployment.
• Strong communication and influence without direct authority.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a roadmap for layout automation and AI-enabled workflows.
• Define productivity metrics and drive significant cycle-time reductions.
• Identify opportunities for automation across layout, verification, tape-out, and release.
• Create software tools and AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Lead integration of generative AI and ML into engineering processes.
• Collaborate with layout engineers and CAD teams to capture best practices.
• Establish data pipelines and dashboards to measure efficiency and ROI.
• Drive adoption of new tools through training and technical leadership.
• Work with EDA vendors to evaluate and deploy capabilities.
• Serve as technical leader for design automation across programs.
• Mentor engineers and influence automation investments.
