Job summary

Teradata seeks a world-class Principal Knowledge Graph Engineer to lead architecture and evolution of enterprise knowledge graphs powering the Context Engine and AI workflows. You will own scalable graph platforms, ensuring reliability and auditability in production environments.

You will design ontology-driven data models, integrate structured and unstructured data, and mentor engineers while collaborating with AI and data teams across Teradata.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Computer Science, Information Science, Knowledge Representation, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
• Contributions to widely adopted graph technologies or open-source projects.
• Published research in knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, graph machine learning, information retrieval, or AI.
• Experience building enterprise GraphRAG platforms at production scale.
• Experience developing graph-powered autonomous agents and AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision for enterprise knowledge graph architecture.
• Lead design of scalable graph platforms supporting billions of nodes and edges across data domains.
• Establish standards, frameworks, and best practices for graph modeling and ontology design.
• Serve as the company's senior technical authority on graph technologies, semantic systems, and knowledge representation.
• Develop scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines for large-scale environments.
