Responsibilities

  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities across a variety of industries and business models.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, merger models, LBOs, and return sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct company, industry, market, and competitor research to support investment recommendations.
  • Perform financial, commercial, and operational due diligence on prospective investments.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, committee presentations, and other materials for senior leadership.
  • Support transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing.
  • Analyze capital structures, financing alternatives, and transaction risks.
  • Coordinate diligence processes with management teams, advisors, lenders, consultants, and legal counsel.
  • Monitor existing investments and assist with portfolio management initiatives.
  • Track market trends and emerging investment opportunities across sectors.
  • Support strategic projects and special situations as needed.
  • Work directly with senior investment professionals on live transactions and investment decisions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a bulge bracket or middle‑market investment bank
  • Exposure to M&A, leveraged finance, ECM, DCM, sponsor coverage, or principal investing transactions
  • Demonstrated interest in investing and long‑term value creation
  • Ability to work across multiple industries rather than a single sector focus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and operate in a lean team environment
  • Experience with programming, data analytics, or quantitative analysis is a plus
