Job summary

System One is seeking a Principal Investigator (MD/DO) in Columbus, OH to provide medical leadership and oversee clinical trials onsite. You will review eligibility, monitor safety data, perform medical assessments, and guide site staff across multiple studies.

The role requires an active Ohio medical license, board certification, and prior PI or sub-investigator experience. DEA registration may be required by protocol. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with licensure to practice in Ohio.
• Board-certified and eligible for clinical trial leadership.
• DEA registration if required by study protocols.
• Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license.
• Prior PI or sub-investigator experience in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and clinical leadership for trials.
• Act as study physician, review eligibility and screening outcomes.
• Review AEs/SAEs and participant safety trends.
• Perform or oversee medical assessments and endpoints.
• Guide subs and site staff on clinical matters and safety.
• Be the medical resource for sponsors, CROs, and leadership.
• Participate in site visits, monitoring, and close-out activities.
• Review laboratory data, ECGs, vital signs, and other metrics.
