Job summary

Requires 8+ years in oil and gas, strong knowledge of standards, and a PE license. Office-based with site assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with NEMA, NFPA, API, AGA, ISA, IEC, ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or reviews discipline job specifications.
• Prepares or reviews requisitions for inquiry and purchase of equipment and subcontracts.
• Approves technical bid evaluations with Procurement.
• Prepares/reviews operation philosophy and Cause & Effect diagrams.
• Reviews P&IDs and PFDs for instrumentation & control.
• Develops network architecture, instrument index, and I/O lists.
