Job summary

Sanford Health in Remote ND is seeking a senior infrastructure leader to architect and guide complex, multi-vendor infrastructure initiatives. You will lead teams, drive secure, scalable hosting strategies across on-premises and cloud environments, and mentor staff to adopt automation and modern IT practices.

Applicants need extensive experience in compute, storage, cloud, and network, with advanced scripting and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
10 years in enterprise server/storage/cloud with 2+ years in senior or principal role.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; knowledge of networking, load balancers, and firewalls.
Advanced infrastructure certifications desired.

Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, resilient, scalable infrastructure across servers, storage, network and cloud.
Lead infra teams on mid-to-large projects and ensure policy compliance.
Mentor engineers and promote automation and AI practices.
Align infrastructure designs with security and architectural standards.
