Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst/Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst 3/4 to support program(s) as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Supporting a fast paced, high profile program.
  2. Creating, maintaining and leveraging working relationships with internal and external customers.
  3. Developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  4. Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.).
  5. Studying and implementing federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  6. Obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  7. Preparing manuals outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  8. Conducting security education classes and related briefings.
  9. Investigating security violations and preparing reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  10. Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4, ICD 705, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.

This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
  1. 5+ years of Security or related experience and Bachelors Degree or a MS Degree and 3+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
  2. Active Top Secret clearance. In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  3. Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP and SCI eligibility and access.
  4. Ability to perform work at multiple sites.
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
  1. 8+ years of Security or related experience and Bachelors Degree or a MS Degree and 6+ years of experience. An additional 6 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
  2. Active Top Secret clearance. In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  3. Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP and SCI eligibility and access.
  4. Ability to perform work at multiple sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. CPSO/CSSO experience.
  2. CDSE Industrial Security Training, Intro to SAP, SAP Compliance, SAP Mid-Level, etc.
  3. Industrial Security Professional Certifications - SPeD SFPC, NCMS ISP, etc.
  4. Experience with customer high side networks to include CV2, CORE, CNET, JADE, etc.
  5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  7. Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  8. Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  9. OPSEC program experience.
  10. Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  11. Willingness to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, with excellent communication skills, both speaking and writing, and organized skills enabling effective communications.

Salary Range: $87,000 - $130,600

Salary Range 2: $108,400 - $162,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
