Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst/Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst 3/4 to support program(s) as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. Responsibilities include supporting a fast-paced, high-profile program; creating, maintaining, and leveraging working relationships with internal and external customers; developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment; and investigating security violations and preparing reports specifying preventive actions to be taken.

Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC, etc.) is required. Candidates should have a working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4, ICD 705, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.

This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  1. 5+ years of Security or related experience and a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Active Top Secret clearance. In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within the last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  3. Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP and SCI eligibility and access.
  4. Ability to perform work at multiple sites.

Basic Qualifications for Level 4:

  1. 8+ years of Security or related experience and a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree and 6+ years of experience. An additional 6 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Active Top Secret clearance. In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within the last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  3. Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP and SCI eligibility and access.
  4. Ability to perform work at multiple sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPSO/CSSO experience.
  • CDSE Industrial Security Training, Intro to SAP, SAP Compliance, SAP Mid-Level, etc.
  • Industrial Security Professional Certifications - SPeD SFPC, NCMS ISP, etc.
  • Experience with customer high side networks to include CV2, CORE, CNET, JADE, etc.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • OPSEC program experience.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $87,000 - $130,600

Salary Range 2: $108,400 - $162,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
