Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking an experienced Principal Indirect Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategies across HR, IT, Marketing, and other indirect categories. This role focuses on negotiating contracts, realizing OpEx and CapEx savings, and building strong supplier relationships.

The candidate will manage multiple categories, drive continuous process improvements, and report savings KPIs to executives. In-office presence is expected Tue-Thu under current policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement or sourcing.
• Experience in change and continuous process improvement.
• Flexible to manage and support new categories.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and must be a self-starter.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts module.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for a broad range of indirect services and goods.
• Pursue opportunities for significant OpEx and CapEx cost reductions and budget savings.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure that they meet or exceed performance expectations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities align with business objectives.
• Manage and report monthly on savings KPIs to Executives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
