As a Principal - Hyperion Architect, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business using Hyperion Planning and Reporting applications including, but not limited to Essbase, Planning, FDMEE and Financial Reports as Leggett continually strives to develop and implement Hyperion solutions to meet forecasting business goals, objectives, and regulatory requirements.Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by enriching internal and external customer confidence, providing continuous improvement, and enhancing productivity at Leggett.

So, what will you be doing as a Principal - Hyperion Architect?

  • Collaborate with FP&A, IT and business partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions through design, development and implementation
  • Identify forecasting pain points and opportunities to create value for the business and increase forecast accuracy
  • Manage application maintenance, enhancements, and user support
  • Work with key stakeholders, leadership, business units, and other internal and external constituents to evaluate proposed solutions, both purchased and internally developed.
  • Develop and/or modify Hyperion calculation scripts, business rules, reports, planning forms, and integrations
  • Support Hyperion applications by resolving technical issues
  • Collaborate with IT partners to find efficient reporting strategies to streamline and simplify reporting capabilities across the company
  • Ensure system compliance with internal controls and audit standards
  • Generate reports, presentations, documents, and other collateral to present assessment updates and progress reports related to proposed and in-flight projects
  • Prepare user training for system enhancements

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum of 7-10 years hands on technical experience with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite of products
  • Solid experience in analysis, requirements gathering, design, development and deployment of Hyperion Enterprise products
  • Strong technical skills including writing/creating/modifying calculation scripts, business rules, load rules, financial reports
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of change and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to drive results with minimal oversight
  • Detailed oriented
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and planning (e.g. Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Things we consider a plus:

  • Previous experience working in a global and/or manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience with Hyperion Financial Management
  • Knowledge of both Hyperion On-Prem and Hyperion Cloud environments
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Proven experience in Oracle Financial applications implementation, configuration and management, with at least one full-cycle EPM implementation
