Spencer Ogden is partnering with an employee-owned environmental and water resources consulting firm to hire a Principal Hydrogeologist to lead the growth of its Colorado water resources practice.   • 10+ years of consulting experience in hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources, or a related discipline.

  • Knowledge of Colorado water resources is highly desirable.

  • Lead and grow the Colorado Water Resources practice.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with municipal, industrial, mining, and private-sector clients.
  • Drive business development, proposals, and strategic pursuits.
  • Lead complex groundwater and water resources projects from planning through delivery.
  • Mentor and develop technical staff while helping grow the Colorado team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on regional strategy and expansion.
  • Ensure high-quality technical delivery and QA/QC across projects.

We're partnering with an employee-owned environmental and water resources consulting firm that is looking to hire a Principal Hydrogeologist to lead the growth of its Colorado water resources practice.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and grow the Colorado Water Resources practice.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with municipal, industrial, mining, and private-sector clients.
  • Drive business development, proposals, and strategic pursuits.
  • Lead complex groundwater and water resources projects from planning through delivery.
  • Mentor and develop technical staff while helping grow the Colorado team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on regional strategy and expansion.
  • Ensure high-quality technical delivery and QA/QC across projects.

Technical Experience

We're interested in professionals with expertise in several of the following areas:

  • Groundwater investigations
  • Hydrogeologic conceptual models
  • Groundwater modeling
  • Water supply planning and development
  • Groundwater basin characterization
  • Well design, testing and construction
  • Integrated water management
  • Water reuse and sustainability
  • Technical leadership and project management

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • Proven experience leading client relationships and winning new work.
  • Track record of managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and scientists.
  • Knowledge of Colorado water resources is highly desirable.
