Role

The Principal HR Business Partner is a strategic and hands-on role providing full cycle Human Resources support. Based in Seattle, WA, this role will be part of a global HR and business team, requiring strong collaboration. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals, driving organizational effectiveness, and executing HR programs at scale across a global footprint. The role involves partnering with Data Center Engineering leadership to support their design, operational, and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring HR practices support their complex engineering and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with executive leaders to develop and implement HR plans and solutions.
• Define HR goals based on business drivers, addressing underlying people issues to solve business challenges.
• Build trust as a partner to global Data Center Engineering leadership.
• Partner on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment.
• Provide management coaching to senior leaders.
• Analyze business metrics related to retention and employee experience, recommending systemic improvements.
• Lead performance management and talent development processes.
• Support compensation activities including salary planning, promotions, and job re-leveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 7+ years in HR leadership roles with broad HR management experience.
• 3+ years HR experience in a high-tech environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Experience working with global teams and assessing management and executive talent.
