Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer to serve as the foundation and grantmaking SME within the Solution Engineering team.

This senior individual contributor will lead the most strategic deals, combining grantmaking expertise with deep technical and executive presence to drive growth and customer success across our Nonprofit Cloud foundations. The role requires 10+ years in grantmaking technology, executive communication skills, and a strong Salesforce platform background.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in foundation/grantmaking tech or solution engineering.
• Proven track record leading complex, strategic sales cycles with business value outcomes.
• Executive-level communication and ability to present to C-suite/board members.
• Deep knowledge of cloud SaaS, web tech, and Salesforce.
• Independent, senior technical leader and mentor to others.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal SME on foundation/grantmaking solutions across the org.
• Own strategy and technical direction for large foundation opportunities.
• Partner with sales, post-sales, product management, marketing for GTM.
• Lead discovery workshops and executive briefings with key stakeholders.
• Architect and present tailored demos and designs on Salesforce platform.
• Own RFI/RFP responses and competitive positioning for grants.
• Represent Salesforce at industry events and webinars.
• Provide input to product roadmap based on field feedback.
• Coach and enable other SEs and sales teams on grantmaking domain knowledge.
