Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Principal Cloud AI Platform Architect to lead Google Cloud, platform engineering, and enterprise cloud design.

You will set architectural standards, drive best practices, and build secure-by-default foundations enabling enterprise-scale AI and data workloads. This role partners with Data Engineering, Security, and Product Architecture to design scalable AI inference, model runtimes, and governance.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise‑scale Google Cloud environments.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide principal-level architecture leadership for GXO's Google Cloud environment and enterprise platform design.
• Lead architecture for GKE, networking, security, and observability; establish IaC standards with Terraform and GitOps.
