Job summary

UES is seeking a Principal Engineer - Geotechnical to provide senior technical leadership across West Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie offices. The role focuses on complex projects, client relationships, and growth of the geotechnical practice.

The candidate will serve as Engineer of Record when appropriate, review technical deliverables, and mentor engineers while supporting business development efforts and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• 15+ years of experience in Geotechnical and/or CMT field.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority and subject matter expert for geotechnical engineering projects.
• Provide technical leadership for complex or high-risk projects.
• Review, evaluate, and approve geotechnical reports, engineering calculations, and recommendations.
• Mentor and develop engineers and other technical professionals.
