Tetra Tech in Birmingham is seeking a Principal Geo-environmental Consultant to lead the ground risk and remediation team on major projects. You will guide geo-environmental work from desk studies through to planning and construction, acting as a primary client and regulator contact.

You will oversee delivery with a focus on time, cost and quality, while nurturing a collaborative team and driving business development across renewables, transport, property, and water sectors.

Qualifications

• Chartered status or working towards chartered status
• Substantial geo-environmental consultancy experience
• Experience with contaminated land risk assessment and remediation strategies
• Interest in digital data capture, interpretation and presentation

Responsabilités

• Lead geo-environmental projects from inception to delivery, managing time, cost and quality.
• Provide robust technical advice to clients and regulators and produce clear outputs.
• Line manage two to three technical staff and contribute to business development.
• Build trusted client relationships and engage with regulators and project teams.
• Support work-winning activities and shape project strategy and technical direction.
• Ensure reporting and technical assurance meet high standards of quality.
