Job summary

Egen is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to set the technical direction for our most complex GenAI work and to hands-on build at scale. You’ll architect systems that survive production, elevating engineers to deliver robust AI solutions.

You’ll partner with client leadership, shape solutions in pre-sales, and lead multi-step reasoning at scale while ensuring latency, cost, governance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering AI systems to production at scale.
• Deep expertise in GenAI, LLMs, and agentic architectures.
• Strong collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with production-grade ML pipelines and observability.

Responsibilities

• Set architecture and ownership for complex GenAI systems end-to-end.
• Build production-grade agentic workflows with robust reliability.
• Design for latency, cost, and scale; apply MLOps best practices.
• Lead and mentor engineers, raise the bar for AI engineering.
• Advise clients and shape deals with technical leadership.
