Job summary

Cotality is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable Gen AI and document image extraction pipelines in a hybrid Dallas/Irvine environment. You will architect solutions using Google Cloud Platform, Doc AI, BigQuery, and Python, guiding teams to deliver enterprise-grade, HITL-enabled workflows.

The role requires 7+ years in IT with deep Gen AI/Document AI expertise, strong data engineering skills, and a track record of influencing architectural strategy in

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in Gen AI/Agentic AI and document image extraction.
• Deep experience with Google Document AI suite (Form Parser, Custom Extractors, CDE training/tuning).
• Experience in designing HITL workflows for enterprise Document AI pipelines.
• Familiarity with data modeling and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI data pipelines and document image extraction workflows.
• Translate business requirements into enterprise-grade architecture and designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
