Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end development across real‑time analytics platforms. You will integrate ReactJS front‑end with C#/.NET back‑end services, test across UI, API, and data layers, and mentor engineers in a highly collaborative, AI‑augmented environment.

You’ll engineer scalable systems for trading, risk, and market data, with emphasis on performance, security, and cross‑team integration, in a desktop and web context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of hands-on full-stack development.
• Experience designing and leading integration and end-to-end test strategies for multi-component systems.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and CS fundamentals.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for integration and end-to-end testing across Silexx, LiveVol, and DataShop.
• Lead design and implementation of full-stack apps with ReactJS front-end and C#/.NET back-end services.
• Build and maintain automated integration, contract, and end-to-end test suites wired to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Implement secure server communications and authentication using RESTful and streaming protocols.
