Job summary

Micron Technology in Idaho is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI applications that support Autonomous Operations across global facilities. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from data pipelines to APIs, web apps, digital twin integrations, and cloud/edge deployments.

The role requires 5+ years building AI-enabled web apps, strong Python/JavaScript skills, and experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying production web applications or AI solutions.
• Strong programming in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript with scalable architectures.
• Experience building data ingestion, ETL pipelines for AI/ML at scale.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of SQL/database technologies used in enterprise apps.
• Experience collaborating across software, data science, operations, and infra teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deliver end-to-end AI products including data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, APIs, UIs, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain modern front-end apps using React, Angular, or Streamlit with Python/FastAPI backend.
• Develop scalable integrations between manufacturing systems, robotics platforms, AMRs, sensors, and enterprise apps.
• Design digital twin environments to support simulation, validation, and optimization.
• Integrate LLMs and agentic AI into production workflows.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps via Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD across cloud/edge.
• Optimize AI workloads with GPU acceleration, model tuning, and Responsible AI practices.
