Hut 8 Corp. is seeking a Principal, FP&A — Development to own the financial picture of our development portfolio across the full project lifecycle, from initial estimate through project completion.

You will publish recurring reporting and act as a trusted finance partner to Corporate Development and Energy Origination teams. The role emphasizes building cost estimates, scenario analysis, and decision-ready dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and AI-enabled tools in a fast-paced, growth-focused

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A, project finance, cost estimating, or portfolio analytics experience.
• Experience supporting real estate development, data centers, energy, or large capital projects.
• Strong ability to publish polished reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work with ownership and autonomy across full project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Publish recurring reports on the development portfolio — budgets, forecasts, commitments, spend, and variances.
• Perform portfolio-level analysis: capital deployment, cost trends, benchmarking, and scenario analysis.
• Build dashboards and visualizations in Power BI/Tableau; drive self-service reporting.
• Own the financial view of the development lifecycle: estimates to actuals, cost estimation, and funding.
• Serve as cost estimator for development projects, collaborating with multiple teams.
• Feed lessons learned into estimating benchmarks and unit-cost libraries.
