Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required or preferred in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or engineering.
• 6 or more years of work experience in the listed disciplines.
• Familiarity with AEP accounting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and formulate financial forecasts with operating company personnel using corporate financial models.
• Perform monthly/quarterly variance reporting and analysis of budget vs. actual results.
• Prepare and present reports to executive management and Board of Directors.
• Develop strategic evaluations of corporate opportunities, including acquisitions/divestitures and recommend actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Communicate clearly with senior management on strategic and regulatory matters.
• Assist management in training new analysts.
