Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Principal-Financial Analysis to support a growing organization focused on driving profitability, improving financial performance, and enabling data-driven business decisions. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys solving complex business problems, building new analytical capabilities from the ground up, and leveraging automation and AI to transform financial processes. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key business partners, you will proactively engage stakeholders to understand business priorities, identify opportunities to improve margins and revenue realization, develop forecasting models, and deliver actionable financial insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex financial analyses focused on profitability, expense management, revenue performance, and business growth.

  • Serve as a strategic business partner who influences leadership decisions through financial expertise, executive communication, proactive stakeholder engagement, and data-driven storytelling.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for complex financial and business challenges.
  • Develop a deep understanding of stakeholder objectives and business strategies to anticipate financial impacts, influence decision-making, and align financial priorities with operational goals.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of balance sheet accounting, including the financial statement impacts of accruals, deferrals, reserves, and other timing-related transactions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, profitability analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience translating complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, proactively influence stakeholders, drive alignment across organizations, and lead through influence rather than authority.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced business/finance credential.
  • Experience with AI-enabled finance tools, business intelligence platforms, and process automation technologies.
  • Experience building reporting, forecasting, and analytical solutions from the ground up.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition, profitability management, and operational finance.
