Job description

Job Title: Principal, Finance Business Partner

Job Description

Entegris is seeking a Principal Finance Business Partner to lead our Fluid Management and Instrumentation (FM&I) business unit. This new leader will operate as the Business Unit's CFO, providing key financial and decision support to the Vice President. The FM&I organization has three distinct businesses (fluid handling, electromechanical devices and instrumentation, and liquid packaging) that design, manufacture and sell products to a broad list of customers in the semiconductor industry.

Our new Finance Leader will be an active member of the FM&I leadership team and work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of Sales, Operations, Engineers and Product Management professionals. This position will report to our Finance Director of the APS Division, and it is preferred that the position be based in Chaska, MN. Other divisional locations may be considered for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the CFO for the FM&I portfolio, providing strategic guidance to drive growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
  • Partner with senior business leaders as a trusted advisor on financial performance, investment decisions, and strategic priorities.
  • Support the development and execution of long-range strategic plans by assessing financial risks, opportunities, and value creation potential.
  • Lead the development of business cases, investment analyses, and financial models to evaluate growth opportunities, capital investments, and resource allocation.
  • Lead global planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.
  • Oversee monthly financial reviews, delivering actionable insights on business performance, forecasts, risks, and key trends to executive leadership.
  • Drive forecast accuracy and financial accountability by identifying performance gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Partner with Operations Finance and business leaders to analyze revenue, gross margin, cost structure, profitability, and cash flow drivers.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting tools, including Power BI solutions that enhance decision-making and business visibility.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting, forecasting systems, and intercompany transactions.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, reporting efficiency, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and executive support for critical business initiatives, organizational priorities, and ad hoc decision-making needs.
  • Maintain flexible work schedule to allow for occasional evening meetings with business partners located in Asia.
What We Seek
  • 8+ years of relevant Finance Leadership experience, ideally within a global manufacturing company.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on key deliverables and lead financial deep-dive discussions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; continuous improvement mindset.
  • Confidence to concisely communicate opinions to, and influence decisions of, diverse business partners in various geographies; strong collaboration skills.
  • Proficient, to advanced, SAP, Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI a plus.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to actively listen to business partners and other team members; ability to summarize and succinctly tell the financial story to non-financial business partners.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts.
  • Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude.
  • Competence in dealing with very confidential data and information.
