The College of Health and Community Well-Being at the University of La Verne is seeking a Principal Faculty for its developing Masters in Physician Assistant Practice Program. Principal faculty are responsible for the development and implementation of courses for the pre-clinical portion of the PA program. They are expected to collaborate in the development of curriculum, assessment, and advising. In addition to the principal faculty responsibilities, the principal faculty will recruit, develop and retain qualified instructional faculty. They also participate in accreditation process. The College of Health and Community Well-Being seeks someone with at least a Master’s degree from an accredited university and preferably a Doctoral degree. The ideal candidate should have 1 year of experience in Physician Assistant education and ability to travel. Committee work is required, as well as maintaining a record of scholarship and professional activities to assure program and university diversity. Principal faculty members report to the Director of the PA program. This position is integral to the development of the Physician Assistant Program and its accreditation. This is a full-time professor of practice position.
