Position:

Principal Faculty for the Physician Assistant Program

Agnes Scott College invites applications for a Principal Faculty Member of its developing Physician Assistant Program.

The Agnes Scott PA Program has applied for Provisional Accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The anticipated matriculation date is October 2025, pending achieving Accreditation-Provisional status at the agenda meeting.

Responsibilities:

1. PA classroom and laboratory instruction
2. Small group facilitation

This is a 12-month, full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed or license-eligible as a physician assistant in Georgia
2. Current NCCPA certification
3. Master’s degree or higher in physician assistant studies or related fields, or licensed and board-certified MD or DO (if out-of-state, must be eligible for GA license)
4. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
5. Experience in PA education is preferred
