Job summary

Northrop Grumman, in the Space Sector, is seeking a Principal Facilities Planner to lead space planning and project coordination in the Dulles area. You will serve as the primary liaison for facilities projects and manage multiple buildings with varying scopes.

Required are a degree in Architecture/Space Planning/Interior Design and experience with CAD, Archibus, and real estate asset management. Strong communication is essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Space Planning, or Interior Design with 5 years of experience OR Master’s with 3 years OR PhD with 1 year.
• Experience in Facilities Planning and construction processes.
• Experience in reading and analyzing construction documents.
• Experience using CAD software and Archibus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages facilities projects and space planning activities across buildings.
• Supports space planning as primary contact for office space requests.
• Coordinates moves, updates Archibus, and generates monthly space utilization reports.
• Develop fit plans with furniture layouts and power/data requirements.
• Coordinate and administer hoteling for hybrid employees.
• Plan, design, and oversee reconfiguration and maintenance of facilities.
