Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Principal Experience Designer to shape AI-driven UX and human–computer interaction experiences. You will visualize, prototype, and define forward-looking product concepts, translating complex technologies into intuitive interfaces.

You will collaborate with researchers, product leaders, engineers, and design peers to craft high-fidelity UI designs, scalable design systems, and polished visual experiences that bring emerging ideas to life.

Principal Experience DesignerDescription -We are seeking a highly skilled UX/UI Designer with strong visual design expertise to join a diverse, multidisciplinary team focused on shaping the future of AI-driven experiences and human–computer interaction (HCI) . In this role, you will help visualize, prototype, and define forward-looking product concepts and strategic initiatives , translating complex technologies into intuitive, compelling user experiences.You will collaborate closely with researchers, product leaders, engineers, and design peers to explore new interaction models, develop high-fidelity design systems, and craft polished visual experiences that bring emerging ideas to life.** Candidate submissions MUST include a portfolio link**What You’ll DoDesign intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for next-generation AI and HCI experiences.Translate complex concepts and emerging technologies into clear, elegant product experiences.Create high-fidelity UI designs, interaction flows, and rapid prototypes using Figma.Develop and maintain scalable design patterns and visual systems that support experimentation and innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, research, and strategy.Communicate design vision through storyboards, prototypes, and presentations.Contribute to strategic initiatives by visualizing future product concepts and experience directions.Champion user-centered design practices throughout the product development lifecycle.Required QualificationsAt least 10+ years of professional experience in UX/UI, product design, or interaction design.Demonstrated high-level visual design skills with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products or concept work.Advanced proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and design systems.Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles .Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile or iterative product environments.Ability to translate abstract ideas and technical concepts into clear design solutions.Excellent communication and storytelling skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing AI-driven or data-rich product experiences .Familiarity with human–computer interaction (HCI) principles and emerging interaction paradigms.Experience building or contributing to design systems .Comfort working in exploratory or 0 1 innovation environments .Motion, prototyping, or storytelling skills that help communicate future product concepts.What We OfferOpportunity to shape future-facing AI and interaction experiences .Collaboration with a diverse, multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and researchers.A culture that values experimentation, creativity, and user-centered innovation.The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
